Throughout its 47-year history, the woman-owned, Wilmington, N.C.-based Tarheel Physicians Supply (TPS) constantly reinvents itself while always placing the customer first through exemplary service and consulting assistance in product selection.

Founded in 1958, Wilmington Hospital Supply created TPS in 1978 as the needs of a growing and diverse physician market made the need for a flexible distributor apparent. In addition to supplies for both general practice and specialized fields of medicine, Tarheel also sells equipment, injectibles and all commodity items, in addition to specialty items for various practices.

Because of its extensive history, the company's aligned itself with the industry's preeminent organizations – including IMCO (Independent Medical Co-op) and HIDA (Health Industry Distributor Association) – and also established a vast array of manufacturing partners. TPS prides itself of extremely flexible service and pricing options. Our services include:

•  Flexibility : Need one box of something that's usually bought by the case? Need your entire office setup? From low-unit-of-measure orders to large office setups, TPS has the knowledge and experience to cater to your needs.

•  Office Installation Team : A crew of installers deliver, assemble install, mount, in-service all equipment purchased through TPS.

•  In-house Service Department : Our technician is factory trained to repair any number of equipment, ranging from EKGs, to power tables. A significant pool of loaner equipment is also available during your wait.
